Shuji Tateishi

Born in Tokyo. Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts, Faculty of Fine Arts, Visual Arts Department.
Works with pencil and mixed techniques. Has illustrated and designed the covers of numerous fantasy literature authors, including Nakai Hideo, Akae Baku, Minagawa Hiroko, and Kuze Mitsuhiko. His publications include art books "In the Frozen Days of Alice" (Shinya Soshosha), "Between Pieces of Paper" (Aoki Gallery), and technique books "Drawing with a Pencil" and "Alice in Wonderland/Through the Looking Glass" (Seidosha).
