Kazufumi Sugimoto

Born in Fukui Prefecture. After graduating from a vocational school, he worked at a graphic design office before going independent as a freelance illustrator. He is known for his work on the covers of the "Yokomizo Seishi Works Series" published by Kadokawa Bunko and has been active as an illustrator, focusing mainly on books. At the age of 50, he began producing copperplate prints. He has also received high praise overseas.
