Yamamoto Mutsumi

He studied oil painting in the art club of high school, and after graduation he studied copperplate engraving at the Bijutsuka Renmei. He illustrated Bataille and others. In 1976, he exchanged works with Leonor Fini during a solo exhibition in Paris. He held retrospectives at Bunkamura in 2009 and at the Hyogo Prefectural Museum of Art in 2010. He passed away in 2001.
