Takeshi Uchibayashi

Based at atelier modif, which he renovated himself from a former ironworks, he creates objects combining a wide variety of materials, including wood, metal, minerals, and electrical components.

His style, underpinned by high craftsmanship and featuring exquisite forms, embodies universal themes such as cities, memories, space, and time, inviting viewers into a world of stories that is both nostalgic and unknown.

In addition to solo exhibitions and presentations at art fairs both domestically and internationally, his unique worldview has been recognized in various fields, including the creation of the fantastical objects featured in the Nikaido Sake Brewery commercial.
