Starting his career as a translator of French literature, Tatsuhiko Shibusawa, with his unique aesthetic sensibility, introduced unconventional Western literature and art, leaving behind a vast body of work encompassing essays, critiques, and novels. He continues to fascinate and influence many writers and artists today. This exhibition traces his footsteps and the lineage that continues to the present day, showcasing works by writers who interacted with Shibusawa, writers whose works Shibusawa admired, and contemporary writers who revered and were influenced by Shibusawa, along with other related materials.
