Osamu Kitayama
(Psychiatrist, President of Hakuoh University, Musician)
Debuted in the 1960s as part of the legendary band "The Folk Crusaders." He released numerous hit songs such as "Kaette Kita Yopparai" and "Ano Subarashii Ai wo Mou Ichido." On the other hand, he pursued a career in medicine and served as president of the Japan Psychoanalytic Association. He has traversed both clinical practice and artistic expression, unraveling the abyss of the mind and societal taboos with his unique humor and keen insight. His numerous books include "The Prohibition of Looking" and "How to Savor Emptiness."


Jin Yamamoto
(Artist)
Self-taught, he creates paintings, prints, ball-jointed dolls, and sculptures. He is known as a pioneer in reviving the classical pre-Renaissance technique of "silverpoint drawing." Drawing inspiration from all things in nature and instinct, he captures life, death, and everything in this world with his unique perspective, continuing to depict them in unconventional expressions. He has also created numerous book illustrations for authors such as Kenzaburo Oe and Shozo Numa.
