Yukiko Hayashi Collection Exhibition

This exhibition features artworks that have shaped the copperplate artist's magical room.

On display are his own copperplate prints framed in antique frames, as well as his art collection (by Alfons Inouye, Matsushima Chisato, Bando Soichi, Yamamoto Rokuzo, and others) that he has collected and treasured.
"Things that will live longer than me need new owners. Objects with lifespans beyond those of humans continue their journey into a future that no one living now will be able to see, swapping short-lived humans for new ones. The magic that existed in the connections between the objects I chose, and between the books on my bookshelf, will disappear here, but they may one day create a magical room for someone, somewhere."
