Shuji Tateishi Exhibition "Fragments - Pieces of Paper that Reach Their End"

Tateishi Shuji is known for his cover illustrations for many masterpieces of fantasy literature.

Taking myths and natural history as his subject matter, he exhibits around 30 pieces, including pencil drawings that depict original images that overlap and emerge, works using a mixed technique of oil and alkyd resin paints, and box objects. With a wealth of ideas and outstanding expressiveness, he expresses a fantasy world woven from fragments of images and words.
